14. Can we buy a design you’ve done previously?

As a protection for our customers, all the final digitized files we do for them are their individual property. We therefore do not sell such design files to others. This is also due to trademark and licensing considerations.

15. What if we lose the digitized file? Can you resend it?

Cool Digitizing stores digitized files in our backup systems for your convenience. While we advise you to keep your own backups, you may email us to resend a design in case you lose a file.

16. Which types of embroidery do you digitize for?

Cool Digitizing is very flexible as we have experience in all types of embroidery. We can digitize the standard flat embroidery, appliqué embroidery, and puff embroidery that is 3D (contains foam). Whether your design calls for color blending, will be stitched on unique fabrics, or contains small text and details, we’ll know exactly what can be done and how to make it look good.

17. Which embroidery machine do you use?

Personally, we prefer using Brother machines as they’ve proven themselves very reliable in quality.

18. How can I minimize expensive mistakes and miscommunications with my customers?

As a common sense and prudent business practice, it is always best to send a virtual or physical sample to your customers for approval before going into mass production. This will prevent disagreements or complaints about stitch counts, misunderstandings of the requirements, or any other problems, related or not related to the digitizing and embroidery. If there are any problems, they can be found early on before moving on to the costly production stage. Sample approval is the key to preventing these kinds of problems. We can edit our tapes according to your specifications, but you are responsible for getting your own customer's approval before production.
